Accusations that Adin Ross is racist because of a blackface joke sent him straight at PlaqueBoyMax and Twitch streamers. The whole situation boils down to a double standard where critics are morally inconsistent with what they believe in. While watching the specific stream where the controversy started, the speaker found the Drewski skit involving white face makeup funny and thought Max's similar action hilarious. They argued that Twitch streamers allow roommates to use racial slurs off-stream without consequence but react negatively when an outsider makes similar jokes. This suggests streamers play favorites rather than being consistent. As Adin Ross put it: "It's a double standard thing. They're so morally inconsistent with what they believe in. I promise you he doesn't give a f-ck about the culture thing".
