    World's Richest Countries GDP Per Capita 2026

    @writersroom.boardwalkThe IMF's World Economic Outlook for 2026 projects that Luxembourg will remain the richest country by GDP per capita, with a figure of $158,730,up from $48,980 in 2000. Ireland comes in second at $140,190, followed by Switzerland ($126,180), Iceland ($110,050), and Singapore ($107,760). The United States, Norway, and Denmark also make the top eight. The list continues with the Netherlands, Macao, Australia, Sweden, Israel, Qatar, and Austria rounding out the top fifteen. The source is the IMF World Economic Outlook (2026).
