West Ham were up 3-2 with a minute and a half left. Scaloni headed the ball and heard Cissé cry out, so he put it out of play thinking someone was injured. Liverpool equalized through Gerrard from 40 meters, making it 3-3. The game went to extra time and penalties, and West Ham lost. Scaloni thinks if they had won, he would have stayed at West Ham. Manager Alan Pardew told him they'd talk later, and Scaloni knew he wasn't staying. So he went to Mallorca, met his wife, and says it was all predestined.
