Best-selling US consoles all time

Circana and GamesIndustry.biz put out the official US numbers and the all-time console hierarchy is something else. Nintendo DS leads at 53.8 million, then the Switch at 46.8 million. PlayStation 2 sits third with 45.5 million, followed by Xbox 360 at 42.7 million and Wii at 41.7 million. Game Boy Advance is next at 35.1 million, barely ahead of PlayStation 4 at 35.0 million. Xbox One moved 32.5 million, NES hit 30.0 million, and PlayStation 5 rounds out the top ten with 25.7 million. Further down, PlayStation 3 reached 23.0 million, Game Boy 22.0 million, Super Nintendo 20.0 million, then Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis tied at 18.5 million. PSP sold 17.0 million, Xbox Series X/S 16.9 million, the original Xbox 16.0 million, and Nintendo 3DS closes at 15.0 million.
