    Presenton open-source AI presentation tool

Ever wonder why your IT department locks down AI presentation apps? It's the same two concerns every time: sensitive data slipping out and your brand looking off-brand. You can't exactly paste unreleased product numbers or client details into a public AI tool just to speed up a deck, and even when you try, the output often screams generic, wrong fonts, messy layouts, nothing like your actual identity. That's where Presenton comes in. It's an Apache 2.0 open-source project sitting at 9.2k GitHub stars, and it does something clever: you hand it your existing PowerPoint, and it learns the design language from that file. It picks apart the typography, color scheme, slide structures, chart styles, headers, footers, timelines, comparison blocks, and other recurring pieces, then uses that as a design system to spin up new slides that match your visual style. But you're not stuck with whatever it generates. There's a visual canvas where you can tweak text, drag elements around, resize components, or reuse blocks you like. And when you're done, you export to a standard, editable PPTX or PDF. Deployment is your call too: self-host with Docker, run models locally via Ollama or LM Studio, or plug in OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or Bedrock. Plus there's an API and a built-in MCP server for integration. So this isn't another locked-down SaaS. It's free, open-source infrastructure for building brand-consistent presentations on your own terms. Repo is in the thread below.
