Forget Me Knot FC football team for grieving fathers

Some dads carry a grief that never really gets lighter, and Sean Coleman decided to do something about it. He started Forget Me Knot FC after losing two children, building a space where fathers with the same loss don't have to feel like they're going through it alone. The name twists the Forget Me Not flower, trading 'Not' for 'Knot', a small word change that says a lot. Before kickoff, the players sit together and talk about what got them through the week, sharing whatever coping worked. Winning isn't the point here; it's about keeping life going while carrying the pain together, remembering the kids without being consumed by it.
