    Portal to Hell movie review

Portal to Hell is exactly what happens when your neighborhood laundromat decides enough is enough and finally opens a literal gate straight to damnation. The whole plot hinges on a debt collector whose entire personality revolves around collecting debts, making a deal with a demon played by Richard Kind just to save the soul of Keith David's character. The transaction is brutal: you have to feed three bad people into a dryer in exchange for one life. It's the most honest movie about modern morality I've seen, and once you start watching it, you simply can't stop. Here's the setup: one day a portal opens right in his laundromat. A demon shows up to collect his neighbor's soul. The demon offers a trade: three souls for one. The neighbor is dying of cancer and still hasn't forgiven himself. The portal never closes. Portal to Hell is the only movie this year that made me reevaluate both my laundry schedule and my moral compass.
