Rey Mysterio on retirement and his AAA GM role

No fixed plan, no countdown clock. That's Rey Mysterio's answer when the retirement question comes up, and honestly the reasoning behind it tracks. His old schedule had him in the ring four or five days a week, and he calls that stretch more stressful than anything he's doing now. These days the workload splits between the GM chair in AAA and lacing up on RAW, a combo he says he genuinely vibes with. Being on both sides of the spectrum, still picking things up and still growing, is what makes it fun for him. So rather than map out an exit date, he's winging it and letting the road decide. The part he keeps coming back to is simply enjoying the moments inside the ring, whether that's as a wrestler or as a GM.
