    MARVEL'S WOLVERINE Insomniac review

Insomniac's MARVEL'S WOLVERINE leans hard into Logan with brutal, cinematic combat that feels visceral and bloody, capturing the character's ferocity through a rage system that adds real complexity to encounters. The visuals are high-quality with set pieces that look incredible, and Liam McIntyre delivers a strong performance while the narrative stays focused on Logan's personal story. You get X-Men characters, villains, and plenty of fan service wrapped in a linear structure that keeps pacing consistent. It is polished and visually impressive, yet the gameplay quality does not consistently match the presentation. Combat mechanics may become repetitive during extended play, enemy variety and certain boss fights appear limited, and exploration options are more restricted than in Insomniac's Spider-Man titles. Some mechanics and optional activities lack development depth, so replay value is considered relatively low. The experience balances praise for action and visuals against criticisms of gameplay repetition and limited exploration.
