NASA's JPL is locked in on a new strat for the search: EELS, the Exobiology Extant Life Surveyor. This snake-like robot is built to dive into the icy oceans of Saturn's moon Enceladus and hunt for alien life. It's currently being tested on Earth in extreme environments to prep for future missions. There is no confirmed launch date yet.

This snake robot built by NASA can search for alien life in the solar system. It is mainly designed to explore the oceans on Saturn's moon Enceladus. The robot is named EELS aka Exobiology Extant Life Surveyor. The scientist is currently testing this snake robot in the icy oceans on Earth and it will soon launch to explore the alien worlds.
