Claude Commerce Agents open source blueprint

Claude Commerce Agents just went open source and honestly it's a whole starter kit for anyone building AI shopping or merchant workflows. The codebase is complete but it's not a polished product, think of it as a flexible base you can tweak under Apache 2.0. There are two agent types: one handles customer side like searching and cart filling, the other is for staff backend stuff. Features include a shopping agent for customer searches and cart management, a merchant agent for back-office analytics and inventory, four runnable verticals (retail, travel, telecom, entertainment), three runtimes including Claude Agent SDK and Managed Agents, plus a Claude Code plugin to scaffold agents directly. And the whole thing is free and open source, so you can actually start building without any upfront cost.
