Hugging Face and Pollen Robotics have opened the doors for pre-orders on Microduck, a tiny bipedal bot priced at $399. This unit stands 25 cm tall with a mass below 800 grams, packing 15 motors, a camera, LiDAR sensors, two IMUs, and an articulated beak into its frame. Since the device runs on open-source software and AI tools, users can program new behaviors and tricks directly.
