Darby Allin calls out Steven Borden knockout time
Steven Borden says he's happy to return after a concussion, though he claims the knockout was just for a little bit. Darby Allin corrects that timeline to six minutes straight during the live stoppage on pay-per-view. Borden notes feeling fine while sidelined despite the injury, ready for his first match back: a blood and guts bout described as AEW's craziest of the year. 😂

All right, so during your pay-per-view match, Stephen, you had a pretty gnarly injury, right? So how does it feel to actually be back in action? And tell the folks what injury you sustained. It feels great to be back. So I got concussed. I was knocked out for a little bit. A little bit. You were snoring for six minutes straight. Like, I was there in the ring. We had to stop the match live on pay-per-view. Stop the match, and he's out there snoring. And I was, Stephen? It was in a little bit. It's weird, though. Because with injuries, like when you're sidelined, normally you can feel it, like you tore something in your knee or whatever. And so you know as much as you wanna get back in the action, you can't. But for me, I felt fine. So it's just this weird thing of like, I wanted to be back out there, but I couldn't. And now that I'm back, it feels pretty dang good. Yeah, ready to get in action. Kind of crazy if you think about it, his first match back is blood and guts, which is AEW's craziest match of the year.
