Shepard's most significant achievement is winning the 2019 NCAA National Championship with Notre Dame, a dramatic one-point victory over Baylor. She was a key contributor throughout the tournament and earned a spot on the Final Four All-Tournament Team. In the Big Ten, she was recognized as the top freshman in 2016 and earned second-team all-conference honors the following year. Her high school career was equally impressive, earning a McDonald's All-American nomination. While she has not yet won individual WNBA awards, her reputation as a smart, unselfish player continues to grow.
